Business Meeting - Let’s talk about services, market research, consumers, employees, human resources

Andrea: Good afternoon, Mister Gabe. How are you today?

Gabe: Fine, thank you. Have you prepared the documents for today’s meeting?

Andrea: Yes, we have a folder for each of our customers.

Gabe: When are they arriving?

Andrea: They should be here, they called me two minutes ago. Here they are! Good afternoon Madam, Sir! They are Mary Smith and Christian Mayor, our clients.

Gabe: Delighted!

Mary: The pleasure is all ours. Can we begin?

Andrea: Sure, can I get you some coffee?

Mary: Yes, please. We represent two of the largest companies on the market: Coca-Coca and Lidl and we need your services of market research for a survey about a new product we want to release. We want to know its impact on potential consumers, which is why we have contacted you.

Gabe: You know that we are one of the most serious market research companies, so we are at your disposal.

Cristian: The survey for our new product calls for special developing conditions. I will explain: the survey’s results have to be ready in a week, 10 000 people have to be interviewed, men and women, between the age of 18 and 55, in the urban areas. Do you think you can do this project?

Gabe: Sure! Our employees work in shifts: from 8 in the morning until 12 in the afternoon, from 2 in the afternoon until 8 in the evening and from 8 in the evening until midnight, so we can cover all time gaps. Everyone will be working on this project. We have enough human resources to finish it on time.

Mary: Alright, from what I see you are willing to work with us.

Christian: There is also the financial part. Our budget is 5000 euros. How does it sound?

Gabe: Pretty convenient. What do you think Andrea?

Andrea: I find it reasonable as well.

Christian: Then we will make the contract. You can start the survey on Monday. We will discuss on the phone other details.

Gabe: Sure, it’s been a pleasure to know you! Good bye!

Mary: Good bye, Mister Gabe!

Christian: Good bye!
