Xmas Gift Exchange Dice Game How to play and have Fun

Christmas Gift Exchange Dice Game is a fun and festive party game that can be played by people of all ages.

How to play Christmas Gift Exchange Dice Game:

  1. Gather a group of players and have them sit in a circle.

  2. Have each player bring a wrapped gift to the game. The gift should be small and inexpensive, as it will be exchanged multiple times during the game.

  3. Choose one player to start the game. This player will roll a pair of dice and follow the corresponding action based on the numbers that are rolled:

  • If the player rolls a 2 or a 12, they must choose a gift from the pile and open it in front of the group.
  • If the player rolls a 3, 4, or 5, they must choose a gift from the pile and give it to the player on their left.
  • If the player rolls a 6, 7, or 8, they must choose a gift from the pile and give it to the player on their right.
  • If the player rolls a 9 or 10, they must choose a gift from the pile and give it to any player of their choice.
  • If the player rolls an 11, they get to keep the gift they are currently holding.
  1. Play continues with the next player rolling the dice and following the corresponding action.

  2. The game ends when all of the gifts have been opened or exchanged.

To make the game more challenging, you can add additional rules, such as requiring players to roll a certain number before they are allowed to exchange gifts, or setting a time limit for each turn. You can also vary the rules based on the numbers rolled to add more variety to the game.

Variations of traditional Christmas Gift Exchange Dice Game:

  1. Secret Santa Dice Game: In this variation, each player is assigned a Secret Santa and must give their gift to that person at the end of the game. Players can roll the dice to determine which gift they receive, or they can choose a gift from the pile.

  2. White Elephant Dice Game: This variation is similar to the traditional White Elephant Gift Exchange, in which players can choose to steal a gift from another player instead of choosing one from the pile. Players can roll the dice to determine their action, with higher numbers allowing them to steal a gift and lower numbers requiring them to choose one from the pile.

  3. Holiday Trivia Dice Game: In this variation, players must answer a holiday trivia question in order to earn the right to exchange gifts. Players can roll the dice to determine which gift they receive, or they can choose a gift from the pile if they answer the trivia question correctly.

  4. Gift Wrapping Dice Game: This variation combines gift exchange with a wrapping challenge. Players must roll the dice to determine their action, and if they roll a certain number, they must wrap their gift in a specific way (e.g. with only one hand, with their eyes closed, etc.). The player with the most creative or unique wrapping job wins a prize.
